Private Support Worker
Rotherham, South Yorkshire  


This full-time role is for a female support worker to join an established team helping to support our client in Rotherham, in her own (pet free) home and in the community. Shift days vary, but are the equivalent to 30.25 hours per week.

Our client is a woman in her late 50s who has an acquired brain injury and some mobility issues. She has a great sense of humour and enjoys various activities - attending headway, going swimming, and enjoying the theatre. 

You'll be required to perform domestic duties, and there is some personal care involved. Also, a full, valid and clean driving license is needed for drives with our client, mainly for short local journeys.

We are seeking a part-time support worker to join an established team to assist our client in his own home and in the community.

Hours of work are 48.75 hours per month, which averaged over a month is 13.5 hours per week, including a sleep-in duty.

Our client is in his 30s. He's shy at first, but once you get to know him he's affable and easy to talk to, with many interests - including farm animals and trips to Manchester to watch the planes.

There will be some domestic duties, but no personal care, other than the odd prompt for him to shave and shower etc.
