We feel it is essential that our team remain up to date on current innovations and developments in the field of case management. And so, from time to time, we attend conferences and other meetings in order to gather information, take part in discussions, and learn about the very latest best practise. Below is a timeline of our activities...


11th December 2024

Client Festive Buffet, Sheffield


 
Attended by Jane, Victoria, Joanne, Mark, Correen, Rochelle, Gemma, Mandy, and Richard.

Over 40 clients, their support workers, and some family members spent a happy afternoon chatting, mingling, and playing festive games. Once again we chose The Quays Hotel Sheffield, and its attentive staff and nicely decorated function room helped make our festive buffet another great success. Thanks go to the hotel staff, and to all those who made the effort to celebrate the season with us.

10th December 2024

Pantomime, Nottingham

Kindly hosted by the Midlands-based Nelsons Solicitors, Victoria, Jane, Gemma, and Mandy went to enjoy a panto at Nottingham's Theatre Royal. Gok Wan, Richard Windsor, and a Chuckle Brother delivered a raucous production to a packed house.

This year's Winter Party hosted by Sintons at its Newcastle upon Tyne headquarters was a great opportunity to meet the Sintons team, and other case managers from across the northeast.

WonderLAN Ball, Gateshead

Hosted by emgsolicitors the WonderLAN charity Ball was held in Gateshead this year. It raises money for people living with a brain injury and is an opportunity to meet a wide range of industry professionals.

Team Day, Sheffield

At this year's Team Day we enjoyed presentations and discussions on our latest procedures and plans, and looked towards a bright future for the sector. 

As well as this, we marked our fifth year of operation since Jane and Ella rebooted Northern Lifetime in 2019, and forged a new, respected and appreciated Case Management company.

Hosted by Hugh James Solicitors in Manchester, this inspiring event comprised of seminars and discussions, focussing on the value of support worker records, and bridging the knowledge gap to improve recovery and empower clients in their daily post-injury challeges.

Steps Amputee Conference, York

The day was a useful reminder of the huge impact that that prosthetic technology and amputee rehabilitation can have following a traumatic injury. Innovation continues at pace in this field, with current and coming improvements able to enhance and improve the recovery process.

Sintons Summer Party, Newcastle upon Tyne

The impressive building where the event was held was built for the 1929 North East Exhibition - itself a project to foster arts & craft and industry. Since 2000 it has been the home of the Wylam Brewery

Ella commented, 'I attended this and enjoyed a beautiful summer evening catching up with colleagues old and new.'

BABICUM Annual Conference, Coventry

BABICM (British Association of Brain Injury & Complex Case Management)  is the is the leading body representing professionals working in brain injury and complex case management.

It was established in 1966 to foster best practice in the industry and its conferences have become an important forum for exchanging news and views across this area of the care sector.
