Snapshots from our story so far

Northern Lifetime is a relatively new Case Management company, and we have recently marked our fifth anniversary. We are proud of our collective and individual achievements, and especially so when they have contributed to helping our clients make the most of life. Below we highlight some of the key moments in our journey so far, and celebrate some of the people involved in them.

  June 2025

Reflecting our founder's considerable experience and reputation in the field of case management, Ella has been appointed onto the BABICM (British Association of Brain Injury and Complex Case Management) council, and Jane is now a panel member at the IRCM (Institute for Registered Case Managers).

  2024 Staffing

At our fifth birthday as a company we are proud to be helping 55 clients, with 10 case manages and around a hundred support workers, and four administration staff.

  2024 Events

We had a super successful client Christmas social in Sheffield, and also celebrated our fifth birthday as a company with a very productive Team Day, also in Sheffield.

  2024 Client Achievements

Several of our clients reached some amazing goals this year. These include taking up painting, going on a first foreign holiday, starting accountancy studies, joining in the cooking of meals, dancing at a wedding, holding down a new job, visiting Disney World, passing a driving test, doing a first DJ gig, joining Steps, and nailing the Kazoo.

  2023 Events

We held our 2nd client and support worker summer social, our 3rd Team Day, and also had another super successful client Christmas social in Sheffield.

  2023 Staffing

Christina and Rachel T. joined us as Associate Case Managers, while Bob and Kate left Northern Lifetime to enjoy well-earned retirements.

  2022 Staffing

Correen and Mandy joined the team as case manager, and training and compliance administrator, respectively.

  January, 2021

Joanne, Rachel, and Bob joined the team of case managers.

  2019

Jane and Ella arranged meet-ups in the Cafe Concerto in York - roughly midway between their hometowns of Sheffield and Newcastle - for mutual support and to discuss the future. It was here that they first dreamt of setting up a case management company of their own.
