Every person and case is different of course, and we believe that it is vital to begin by establishing a good rapport with any new client. Building on early interactions, we feel that using a dynamic and flexible approach is the way to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
Empathy is key too, as is a humanistic view of therapy and what are sensible and achievable outcomes that we can work towards bringing about.
Occupational therapy is a lot more than giving clients equipment to help with daily life. To feel comfortable and be able to grow abilities over time, it's a holistic all-round strategy that will reap larger rewards in the long run.
We are based in the north of England and are happy to take on new occupational therapy case work - for the time being within a couple of hours drive of Newcastle, as far as the English/Scottish Borders.
